Chelsey graduated from Carleton University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies (B.CoMS) Honours degree with high distinction. A Sault native, Chelsey returned home after completing her studies with ambitions of using her experience in writing, social media, event planning, graphic design, videography, and photography to better her community.
After landing a one-year marketing and communications internship at Habitat in February of 2020, Chelsey caught “Habititis” (as it’s called in the biz) and worked her way into the role of Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator for the organization where she aims to help Habitat – and the families we serve – grow and thrive.
Outside of work, Chelsey can usually be found watching true crime documentaries on Netflix while snuggled up with her chihuahua, Waldo.
